I just have one question, how do you get that soft glow type thing? I see it a lot in Noah's pictures too and it's quite stunning... do you use a filter or is it just a combination of exposure and shutter speed?

Jim: Well, to get the "soft glow thing" I recommend going out and getting a diffuser lense like the Hasselblad Softar lenses. But, since they cost a lot of money and I have access to image editing software, I cheat.
My process for making the softness is still being refined. And I was inspired by Noah. Generally I put a blurred layer over an oversharpened layer and use layer blending and opacity to get a subtle softness.
I have no idea how Noah does it. But I love the effect. Perhaps he's got a fancy-schmancy lens.
